Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven, Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory.

A Prayer In A Sleepless Night

O God, I cannot sleep. I lie awake, thinking about things and worrying. I worry about my health, my family, the future - a countless number of things. I am weary but I find no rest. I remember your words; 'Can any of you live a bit longer by worrying about it? (Mt 6:27) Help me to take your words to heart. Let me place each concern in your hands. Grant me peace, O God, and let me sleep. I pray this in Jesus name Amen
